12 ARRESTED FOR ILLEGAL MIGRATION ATTEMPT

The Nigerian Immigration Services has arrested 12 persons in Katsina state while they were trying to cross legal and illegal routes to Agadez, Niger republic, en route Libya, then Europe.

Seven of them were women who were said to have covered their faces with hijab in order to avoid arrest.

The victims name are Dennis Igbobo, Elvis Osas, Earnest Ugiagbe, Bright John, Lucky Iyare, Gift Osagie, Godday Ruth, Ovioma Gift, Otoboh Fabour, Believe James, Endurance Idemadia and Marian Josiah.

Some of them said the reason for their migration attempt was as a result of the hardship in the country, so they sought to seek better opportunities abroad.
