MAN CHARGED FOR SHOOTING OWN DAUGHTER TO DEATH

A man who killed his nine-year-old daughter while giving a lesson to his sons about the danger of guns has been charged over her death.

Olivia Hummel, from Hobart, Indiana in the U.S., died last Saturday after being shot in the head by her dad, Eric, 33, the Chicago Tribune reports.

38 YEAR OLD FARMER STABS MAN TO DEATH

A 38 year old farmer, Aliyu Adamu, was, on Friday, remanded in prison custody by a Sokoto Magistrate's court, for the murder of one Nura Isiah, whom he stabbed to death.

Aliyu was said to have conspired with two others, Guti Mohammed and Lukman Soja, who are now at large, to carry out the horrible act. According to reports, he went to the deceased shop at Old Market and stabbed him in the stomach, after which he was rushed to the Specialist Hospital, Sokoto, where he was confirmed dead.
