MAN COMMITS SUICIDE AFTER SHOOTING WIFE AND MAID

One Sgt. Thomas Agada committed suicide after shooting his wife and his maid, at Masaka in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa state. The incident, which happened in the early hours of Sunday, was confirmed by the Nasarawa State Police Command.


According to Command's spokesman, Mr. Kenneth Idrisu, the man had shot and injured his wife and maid before killing himself at their shop around De Memories Hotel in Masaka. The wife is currently receiving treatment at the Asokoro General Hospital in FCT.

“We cannot say for sure now what could have led to the dastardly act but we believe that the wife, currently being treated would be of great help to our investigation, once she stabilizes,” the spokesman said.

Investigations are still being carried out to decipher what brought about the incident.
